Tomix 98480 JR Type 923 Shinkansen Electric Track Comprehensive Test Vehicle (Doctor Yellow) 4 Cars Model Train Set (N scale)

The 923 type is a comprehensive test vehicle designed for the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen line. Introduced in 2000, it is capable of reaching speeds of 270 km/h, making it a suitable replacement for the aging 922 type.
This 7-car train resembles the 700 series and features electrical equipment measurement vehicles in cars 1-3 and 6, a track equipment measurement vehicle in car 4, and meeting rooms and tour conductor rooms in other cars. It has a unique body color distinct from other vehicles on the Tokaido Shinkansen, earning it the nickname "Doctor Yellow" due to its yellow exterior with blue stripes.
