The Tomix FM-021 First Car Museum JR Series 100 Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen (Hikari) (N scale) showcases the 100 Series Shinkansen, a train that debuted on the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen in 1985. This model features a distinctive "shark nose" front design and a two-story intermediate car. Although it served on the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen for many years, it was eventually replaced by newer models in 2003 and 2012 and is now displayed in museums.
